Why Was My Employee’s Salary Less Than Expected?

If you sent $100, but your employee received $93, the difference is due to intermediary bank fees applied during international transfers.

Understanding These Fees

When making cross-border payments ( international transactions) via SWIFT, the transaction may pass through multiple banks before reaching the recipient.

  • Each intermediary bank may deduct a small processing fee, reducing the final amount received.

  • These fees are beyond PaidHR’s control—we always send the full amount, but the final deposit depends on the banks involved in the transfer.

  • Unfortunately, these charges are unpredictable and can vary with each transaction.
