We have made it simple to update any of your personal information on your PaidHR account employee profile, such as your name, phone number, birthday, home address and more.

This article will explain how to update the information in each section of the "Personal" tab on your employee profile.

Note that if Employee profile update is turned off by your company, you will be unable to update your personal information. Please contact your Admin to update the details on your profile.

How to update the Personal Information in your employee profile

  • Click on Personal from the PaidHR menu to be directed to your employee profile.

  • From here, you can edit the information in any of these sections by clicking Edit in the top right corner.

There are four sections you can edit under the Personal tab of your employee profile:

  • Basic details (Legal name, birthday, phone number etc.)

  • Next of kin details

  • Home Address

  • Custom fields, if applicable

Keep reading to find out what you can update in each of these sections.


Basic Details

The information you provide in this section is as follows:

  • First name, middle name and last name

  • Phone number

  • Recovery Email

  • Tax Identification Number

  • Click on the checkbox at the bottom of the screen to Display your phone number to colleagues, otherwise, leave it unchecked.

  • Click on Save to finish.


Next of Kin

It is important to keep your next of kin information up to date. To add or update your next of kin details, follow the steps below:

  • Click on Edit

  • Fill out the form with your next of kin details

  • Click on Save to finish.


Home Address

If you have recently moved or noticed an error on your address in PaidHR, click Edit in this section to add or update your address.

  • Click on Save to finish.


Custom Fields

Any custom fields your admin added will be displayed after the Home Address section - this will usually vary for each company.

  • Click on Edit beside the custom field to add or update it

  • Fill out the form

  • Click on Save to finish.
