What’s New
Previously, request policies (for leave, exit, loans, and salary advance) could only be set up based on employee paygrades. With this update, you now have greater flexibility — you can now create request policies using:

Paybands
-
Paygrades
-
Or even custom groups (for employees not linked by compensation structure)
This means you can now tailor your policies more precisely to your organization’s unique structure.
Next Steps
To ensure a smooth transition, we’ve temporarily defaulted your current policies to paygrades.
However, moving forward, you will need to update your setup by creating new request policies for your paybands or custom groups.
To create request policies using Paybands, follow these steps:

Go to Request
-
Select ( Leaves, salary advance, loan, exit).

Choose Create

Give the policy a name
-
Select Paybands as the group
-
Choose the applicable Payband(s)

Update the leave balances for those affected and save
