# Start Here: Performance Module Overview

This is an overview of PaidHR's performance module.

PaidHR's performance module aims to assist you in achieving your set goals using either the Balance scorecard or OKR method for managing employee performance.

This module focuses on the vital steps below towards best management practices:

1. **Performance Period**: Set up the start date of the performance cycle.
2. **Company Objective(s**): Set Company goals that will be achieved for the performance period created and choose your performance methodology.
3. **Key Results**: These are steps taken toward achieving the created objectives.
4. **Ratings:** Assign weights toperformance and behavioural scores.
5. **Review Templates:** Create review templates and save them.
6. **Review Listings:** Set up review cycle either using a template or creating one on the go.  
   ​
